It is a simple and informal hotel with no beach and no pretensions about being a luxurious resort; however, with the addition of the spacious oceanfront rooms at the edge of the sea, Fort Young is undoubtedly Dominica’s leading hotel and an excellent base from which to explore this truly beautiful island. The staff at Fort Young are especially charming and the food is good.
