Settlers Beach

Description

Follow in the footsteps of the first British settlers in Barbados who waded ashore on this beach. In a picturesque and peaceful beachfront setting, the hotel offers an intimate collection of just 22 villas and has a very homely and unpretentious atmosphere. You have the option to be independent and self-cater, but the lure of the excellent local restaurants may prove too tempting. If you’re a couple or a family with older children and like to be self-contained, this lovely hotel would make an excellent choice and won’t disappoint.

Location

Located on the west coast of Barbados, approximately 40 minutes from the airport.

Accommodation

22 One, Two and Three Bedroom Villas or One Bedroom Apartments located in peaceful tropical gardens or directly on the beach front. All villas are tastefully decorated and feature one or two air-conditioned, ensuite bedrooms, a spacious separate living area, well-equipped kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer, dining area and a balcony or terrace.

Facilities

Spago’s Italian restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a cocktail bar, swimming pool, a small library/TV room, complimentary non-motorised watersports and complimentary wireless internet access available throughout the property. A range of in-villa spa treatments can be arranged on request. Guests have complimentary use of gym facilities nearby (transport is at an additional charge, payable locally). Complimentary drinks are provided in the villas on arrival and a welcome food pack may be pre-ordered (at an additional cost, payable locally). An excellent supermarket and other shops are also located within easy walking distance.
